I will never forget the occasion, almost 40 years ago. Bobby was 18 months old and Dicky just a few weeks old. I was exhausted. Somehow I got to Jim and Jill's in Charlton Heights. While Jill coked a lovely meal which included mixed peppers (a very unusual treat in those days)I was able to have a rest and recover. This has remained very firmly fixed in my memory.
